Congress Ireland hosted by USA 2024

The congress was a success but not as good as previous ones. Bud and I were on our own running everything but as there were only 98 of us there it was not too ardours. The first day was the registration and opening buffet dinner, this was a change from the normal meet and greet as we exchanged gifts from HOD's which has always been on the last night. I think this was a good idea as we had more time to enjoy ourselves on the last evening. Our second day was to the Cliffs of Mohan, JP Holland museum and Oranmore castle. this was a very long day, I had my car and drove Tony out 101 old WW2 veteran and his wife Betty and I am glad I did because the coaches did not get back to the hotel until 0100 in the morning because of overnight road closures, we were back by 2300 two hours earlier and the road were being closed behind us. Days 3 and 4 were much easier as we were only in Dublin. Guinness brewhouse on day 3 and Jameson's distillery on day 4. We all had hop on hop off bus tickets for all the attractions around Dublin.
